Bangla-Pesa Slum Boys Bounce Back In OdiMtaaniSlum Boys Shofco FC from Bangladesh bounced back to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Young Talents from Miritini during the FKF OdiBets Mombasa County League match played at St. Mary’s Bangladesh ground in Mombasa. The win redeemed Shofco’s hopes after a lukewarm start in the league match that saw them record three draws and one lose. Determined to restore their dented pride the Slum Boys threw everything into attack and drew the first blood in the 6’th min through Eric Ngele. Lawrence Junior made it 2-0 five minutes to break as Evans Ochieng sealed victory in the 80’th min. With the win the Maurice Odao coached side have 6 points from 5 matches and are placed in the 4’th position in the 7 team Pool F log. Shofco have completed the first leg as they await the verdict of their home match against Talanta Sportiff which was a non starter after the visiting teams refused to enter the pitch. Meanwhile in the other league match played at Magongo primary ground onsong Simba Apparell trounced Pendua Rangers 2-0 to maintain lead at the summit of Pool C thanks to a brace by Mercelo Dennis in the 56’th and 64’th min. At Kwa Shee primary dark horses Destiny FC won their first league match after they upset Bahari FC 2-0 away at Kwa Shee primary ground. Despite the win Destiny are still languishing at the bottom of Pool D. They have 3 points after playing 6 matches having won one match and lost 5 matches.
