Burnley ‘Waka Waka’ breathing fire in FKF OdiMtaani

  Burnley Amateur FC from Mvita cemented their lead at the top of the FKF OdiBets Mombasa County League Pool D table standing after they walloped Destiny FC 4-0 in weekend league match played at Mvita ground. Burnley drew the first blood in the 33’rd min through Abdulsalam Swaleh as Faris Mohammed extended lead five minutes to break. Faris Mohammed was on target again to net the third goal two minutes after resumption. Walter Nyanjon provided the last straw in the 67’th min to secure maximum points for the hosts. In the Pool E match played at Miritini primary Jomvu Super Stars (Keroro) came from behind to  spank Mamba from Nyali 3-2. Mamba shocked the hosts with a 34’th min strike by Mohammed Kokani. Ali Juma pulled back for the Keroro in the 43’rd min . Adam Chiringo stretched lead for Keroro six minutes after resumption but Mohammed Henry leveled the scores for the visitors five minutes after an hours mark. The Keroro had the last laugh in the injury time after Hassan Kassim converted a penalty awarded following an infringement inside the box. Elsewhere at Bilima ground Kisauni Hope drubbed Timbwani Youth 4-1.
