Omax FC Suffers Worst League Defeat In 21 YearsOmax FC were annihilated 6-0 by Beach Bay FC in the FKF National Division Two Northern Zone League Pool A away match played at Mjanaheri ground, Malindi over the weekend. It was the worst league defeat ever inflicted to Omax since the club was formed 21 years ago. Rogers Kazungu opened the floodgates for Beach Bay in the 2’nd min. Samuel Ngala doubled lead in the 14’th min and completed his double five minutes later . Baraka Kajela made it 4-0 at quarter an hours mark, a score line that lasted to breather. Rogers Kazungu completed his brace in the stoppage time as Francis Ngala drove the final nail into Omax coffin one minute later to secure maximum points for the hosts. With the results Omax have dropped two places down to 14’th position on the 23 team log with 19 points from 15matches and six points behind third placed Beach Bay. Omax are making their debut appearance in the league after participating in the FKF South Coast Branch League last season. Omax host Bahari FC from Mtwapa at MTTI Bomani in their next league match scheduled for Saturday February 8’th 2020. Elsewhere at Bukhungu Stadium, Kilifi leaders Young bulls opened a 4 points gap at the summit of the table with a well deserved 2-1 away win over Kilifi Stars. Stephen Shungu fired Youngbulls into lead in the 14’th and Sirya Thomas increased lead in the 22’nd min. Kilifi All Stars earned their consolation goal at an hours mark. At Lango Baya, Kilifi hosts Maji Bombers pipped visiting Super Matuga 1-0 thanks to a 17’th min strike by John Kai.
