The sight of Samburu Lions FC players on the football pitch could trigger harrowing flashback for Wanayuki FC. Wananyuki FC walk on a tight rope when they rope when they clash with Samburu Lions FC in the FKF National Division Two Northern Zone League Pool A match this Saturday February 13’th, 2021. The match is scheduled for Samburu Kasarani ground. It would be another meeting since the infamous semi finals clash in the FKF South Coast Branch mini league at in 2019 when Wananyuki accused their opponents of using juju.. Wananyuki won the match 3-0 but the match was overshadowed by side shows after Wanayuki players removed a substance out of the opponents goal post claiming it was black magic. Prior to the incident both teams were deadlocked to a barren half time draw. Both teams were promoted to the FKF National Division Two Northern Zone Pool A the following  season. Samburu magic was witnessed last season following a 1-0 win over Wananyuki at Samburu Kasarani ground. This weekend Wananyuki will be traveling to Samburu to bury the ghost of last season Smarting from 1-1 unprecedented last weekends  draw against Borussia Dortmund  Wananyuki will need to redeem themselves and restore their dented pride. The Twahhir Yusuf coached side will however miss services of defender  James Amuka who was sent off during last weekend s game following a second bookable offence.
