THINGS FALL APART FOR BAHARI, CHANGAMWE

November 30’th, 2019 was a Black Saturday for Bahari United and Changamwe FC following disappointing performance in the FKF National Division Two Northern Zone League. Visiting Mariakani FC pulled off a surprise 3-0 away win against Bahari United in the match played at Mtomondoni primary in Mtwapa. After a barren first half Ali Kazungu broke the deadlock for the victors seven minutes after resumption. Antony Collins doubled the lead four minutes after an hours mark before sealing victory in the 75’th min. The win took Mariakani FC five places up to 6’th on the 23 team FKF National Division Two Northern Zone League Pool A log with 13 points from 7 matches. Mariakani FC play host to mid table placed Super Matuga at Mariakani Village Polytechnic next Sunday December 8’th, 2019. Meanwhile Changamwe FC lost 0-1 to Sparki Youth in the match played at Changamwe estate. The Changamwe aristocrats were pre match favourites following last weekend 2-1 win against fancied Young Bulls. The visitors were awarded a penalty at quarter an hours mark after a  defender handled the ball inside the box. Sparki Youth goalkeeper Samuel Otieno took the penalty which was saved by Changamwe FC goalkeeper after which Simon Ndoro slammed home from a rebound. Elsewhere at Shanzu Teachers College Training hosts Shanzu United thumped Kishada 3-1 while Kilifi All Stars settled to a barren draw against Omax at Bukhungu, Kilifi.
