Yanga Coach Rues Missed Chances

Yanga  Football Club failed to take advantage of their home ground when they took on Maji Bombers during the weekends FKF National Division Two Northern Zone League Pool A  match that was played at Alaskan stadium in Malindi. Yanga lost 0-2 to the Lango Baya side and club coach Abel Iha feels his team was let down by poor finishing. The  tactician is delighted that the game was entertaining. However he has faulted the attacking department for wasting God given chances including a missed penalty. Abel was seen on the sideline  gesticulating frequently to his players as Yanga attack fired blanks upfront. ‘’ The game was good but as you aware football is a game of chance. My boys wasted numerous chances including a missed penalty but this is part of the game. I hope my players have learnt a lesson from the defeat and come next weekend we shall win God willing’’ During the fatal match Yanga were awarded a penalty in the 85’th min but Amani Roy fired over the bar. Hassan ’Lukaku’ Mwambegu struck a  brace for the visitors in the 10’th min and 38’th min respectively. Yanga welcome debutants Green Marine from Ukunda in their next league match on Saturday February 13’th 2021 at Alaskan stadium.
